Toyota Innova comes in three variants - E, G, V and VM. The MUV was priced at Rs 6.82 lakhs when it was launched in the market.

Engine
Toyota Innova is available in both petrol and diesel models. Petrol variants of Innova are powered by 16V DOHC engine VVT-i engine, which generates a power of 136 PS @ 5600 rpm and a torque of 182 Nm @ 4000 rpm. On the hand, the diesel models of Innova comes with 16V DOHC common-rail engine, churning out a power of 102 PS @ 3600 rpm and a maximum torque of 200 Nm @ 1400-3400 rpm. Diesel engine of the automobile equipped with the latest common-rail technology has enhanced its performance and fuel efficiency.

Safety
Toyota Innova is loaded with many advanced safety appurtenances like Load Sensing Proportion Valve (LSPV), which provides good braking performance. The passenger cell has 3 point ELR (Emergency Locking Reactor) seatbelts to minimize damage in case of collision and side door impact beams. Other safety features of the MPV include Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), dual front SRS airbags, child protector locks, Theft Deterrent System etc.
