Lancer Cedia is a premium car which has evolved from the legendary Evo Series of Mitsubishi. The car can make quite an impression with its performance. Design and Interior
The car is loaded with technologically advanced and comfy features. Its main comfort features are, auto dimming cabin light, wrap around tail lamp, fish eye halogen lamps, black door sash, boot access from cabin, chrome door handles, wood and titanium leather interior, power tilt steering etc. Front suspension has McPherson strut with Coil Spring and Stabilizer bar while rear suspension has independent Multi-link with Stabilizer Bar.
The car has Hydraulic Variable Power Assisted steering. Leather is employed to trim the trendy four-spoke steering wheel, door pads, gear knob and assist grips. Wood and titanium, used in tandem, give the cockpit an elegant look.
Variants and Price
The car is offered in two variants, including the Cedia Sports. It is priced at about Rs 9.87 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Engine
The Cedia has a two-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine which offers a peak power of 115 PS and a maximum torque of 175 Nm. Its top speed is 180 kmph. Lancer Cedia has a 32-bit microprocessor, which monitors and controls everything from fuel consumption to rpms to your safety.
Safety
The premium car is available with safety features like collapsible steering, side impact bars, RISE body, ABS with EBD, dual airbags etc. Safety features include dual air bags with an anti-lock braking system and electronic brake force distribution. The car also has multi-link independent suspension and a five speed manual gearbox.
