Traveling To Shirdi

Shirdi has no airport of its own. The closest airport to Shirdi is the Gandhinagar Airport at Nasik, located at a distance of 75 km from Shirdi The next nearest airport to this holy city is Lohegaon Airport in Pune, which operates airlines like Air India, SpiceJet, Kingfisher and Air Deccan. You can also opt for Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai, which is located at a distance of 194 km from Shirdi. Being the major international airport in the country, most of the foreign flights operate from Mumbai. From here, you can board a public transport or hire a private taxi that would take you to the land of Sai Baba in great comfort.

By Rail
The Kopergaon railway station on Daund-Manmad Line serves as the major gateway for the trains operating from different parts of the country. This railway route connects most of the trains from New Delhi to Bangalore. The next nearest railway station is Manmad junction located at a distance of 52 km. A number of trains from Mumbai and Delhi use this route to reach their destination. From Manmad station, you can reach Shirdi by using state transportation or private cab services. The recently constructed Sainagar Shirdi railway station runs only one train between Mumbai and Shirdi and is called Shirdi Fast passenger.
