Looks and Styling
The bike has been designed with lightweight advanced diamond frame. Wide seating space looks stylish as well as gives comfort to the rider. Some salient features of the bike are Tank to seat flow, Inclined muffler, Moderate bending forward, Fuel tank knee grip, New age body graphics, Aerodynamic front cowl, Black Alloy Wheels, Grab Rail, Intense tail lamp etc. A cleverly chiselled fuel tank comes with well-designed knee recesses and a chrome filler-cap. Control and Comfort
Double suspension system ensures superior absorption of shocks and vibrations, and, at the same time, provides excellent ride comfort and stability. The bike carries the features such as multi mapping CDI, tumble flow combustion chamber, long intake pipe and connecting tube, CV carburettor, two-way Air Jacket and pulse exhaust system. Honda Shine's gearing system makes sure that the bike manages to get higher speeds at lower engine revolutions. Puncture resistant tuffup tyre front and back is a quite useful practical accoutrement. One could go for front drum or disc brakes as per the needs.
Engine
Honda Shine is powered by 125 cc Optimax engine which works on the principle of optimum fuel input to optimize pickup and mileage output. Honda Shine produces a peak power of 10.3 bhp @ 7500 rpm and a peak torque of 10.9 Nm @ 5500 rpm. The bike delivers a mileage of 65 kmpl in city conditions. The bike can accelerate from 0 to 60kmph in 5.3 seconds. It has Digital CDI ignition and Constant Mesh 4 Speed Gear transmission.
