Tata Indigo is available in petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variants of the car are GLE, GLS, and GLX, while the diesel versions come in two models LX and LS. The models are in the price tag of approximate Rs 4.75 lakhs to Rs 5.90 lakhs.

Engine
The petrol variants of Tata Indigo are run by 1396 cc MPFI engine with 32-bit microprocessor, which delivers the power of 85 PS @ 5500 rpm and maximum torque of 122 Nm @ 3500 rpm. Desel variants are equipped with a 32-bit microprocessor based 1396 cc DICOR (Direct Injection Common Rail) 16-valve engine, producing a maximum output of 70 PS @ 4000 rpm and 140 Nm of torque at 1800-3000 rpm.

Safety
Advanced safety systems have been incorporated in the car. Safety measures include Child safety locks on rear doors, anti-submarine front seats and collapsible steering. The GLX (petrol) and LX (TDI/DiCOR) variants are equipped with Audio warning signal for driver's seat belt and rear defogger.
