X5 xDrive50i, a new offering from the German automaker BMW, is an invigorated version of its own stupefying sports utility vehicle, X5 that was launched in the Indian markets a few months ago on September 21, 2010. Priced at Rs. 69.5 lac, it boasts of head turner of a new front face and a herculean 4.4L BMW Twin Power Turbo V8 petrol engine. Design & Comfort
Just one glance is enough to withdraw a continuous stare at this beauty. The visual appeal it carries is a definite head turner. The front bears a vigorously sporty look with the BMW�s trademark kidney grille. Newly designed xenon headlights and a different placement of the fog lamps on the strong and sturdy body of the car make for an eye candy design. A twin chrome tipped exhaust system at the rear and a wide trunk gate with changed placement of the tail lights make the rear side of the car as racy as the front. This petrol engine delivers a maximum power of 407 Bhp @ 5500-6400 rpm and a maximum torque @ 1750-4500 rpm. It reaches 0-100 kmph in about 5.5 seconds with a top speed of 250 kmph while maintaining a decent mileage of 10.4 kmpl in the city and 13.9 kmpl on highways.
