The petrol variant is powered by 1.2 liter engine, pumping out a maximum power output of 71 PS. Talking about the diesel counterpart, it is loaded with a 1.4 liter engine, capable of generating a maximum power output of 69 PS. Both the variants can be driven at the maximum speed of 148 kmph, delivering a performance of 100 kmph under just 15.5 seconds for the petrol engine and 15.8 seconds for the diesel variant. Based on the high traffic conditions prevailing in India, Figo has been tuned to fit well on the hands of Indian drivers. Interestingly, the �Distance to Empty� element added indicates the number of kms that can be traveled with the available fuel in the tank.

Safety
Ford Figo is a small compact vehicle, offering standard and some advanced features. Besides the basic safety elements, it is equipped with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) or Electronic Brakeforce Limitation (EBL), dual front airbags, and keyless entry feature called Smart Programmable Remote Key (only in high-end variants). The keyless entry allows the owner to unlock all four doors or only the driver�s door, apart from unlocking the trunk door with the pressing of a button present in the key. Other interesting safety features include power door locks, power windows, day and night rear view mirror, passenger rear view mirror, and central locking.
