Design and Interior
X-TRAIL looks a smarter vehicle from each angle. Outer surface of the vehicle is engineered with smooth flowing lines, from the front to the rear portion. Xenon headlamps and sleek chrome front grille adorn the fascia of the car, while its rear end is smartened by gleaming tail lights cluster. It has ample head and leg room for all its lodgers.

Quality features of the SUV include four-speaker CD player, cup holders located behind the center storage console and an excellent air conditioning system. Three 12-volt power outlets are installed within the cabin - one in the driver's box, one combined with the cigarette lighter and one positioned in the boot space in the back area.

In Indian automobile market, the three variants of Nissan X-Trail; Comfort, X-pecial and Elegance are available. The price of the SUV is in the price tag of Rs 20 Lakh to Rs 25 Lakh (approx). It is available in numerous colors, including Black, Burning Red, Silver Metallic and White 3 Coat Pearl.

Safety
Safety measures incorporated in the car include Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), ventilated disc brakes, CSR halogen headlights and dual Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) airbags.

Engine
Nissan X-Trail is driven by 2.2L turbo diesel engine, which produces maximum power of 136 PS @ 4000 rpm and a peak torque of 314 Nm @ 2000 rpm. Power is distributed to all the wheels via 6-speed manual transmission. The SUV delivers a mileage of 12 kmpl in city roads and 16 kmpl on highways.
