The ICC Champions Trophy is an International Cricket tournament organized by the International Cricket Conference (ICC) after a period of every 2 years. In the year 2006, the tournament was organized at India. The matches of the tournament were played at 3 venues in India, viz. Mohali, Ahmedabad and Mumbai. After the Final match, CH Gayle of West Indies was named the Man of the Series for his extra-ordinary performance throughout the tournament.
