There are sixteen teams participating in ICC Cricket World Cup 2007.
These teams are divided into four groups: Group A, B, C & D. Within
each group, the teams will play each other in a round-robin format. Top
two teams from each group will qualify for the next round which is known
as "Super 8". The top two teams from each group will play the
other six teams that progressed from different groups. The top four
teams from the "Super 8" round will advance to the
semi-finals, and the winners of the semi-finals will compete in the
final.
The sixteen teams participating in ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 are as
follows:
Group A: Australia, South Africa, Scotland, Netherlands.
Group B: Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, Bermuda
Group C: New Zealand, England, Kenya, Canada.
Group D: Pakistan, West Indies, Zimbabwe, Ireland.
