The Warner Park cricket stadium is part of the sprawling multi-purpose
Warner Park Sporting Complex. The Warner Park stadium has been
extensively renovated keeping in mind the requirements of a top-notch
event like the 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup. The stadium has a permanent
seating capacity of 4000 which will be augmented to 10000 with temporary
seating during major sporting events.
Post refurbishment, the Warner Park stadium will boast of
state-of-the-art amenities for media persons, spectators and players.
The renovation process has cost US $6 million with financial aid coming
from Taiwan. During the 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup, Warner Park will
host first round matches of Group A.
