Chinatrust Commercial Bank Limited (CTCB) is amongst the biggest private banks in Taiwan, managed by the family of Koo Chen-Fu. It was founded in the year 1966, initially by the name of China Securities and Investment Corporation. Then in 1971, the bank's name was replaced with Chinatrust Investment Company Limited. Later in 1992, it was again transformed into Chinatrust Commercial Bank. This change was accompanied with the budding, elevated growth, and metamorphosis of the financial market of Taiwan. Today the Chinatrust Commercial Bank has almost 145 domestic branches and a tremendous number of 4,368 ATMs instituted all around the country. Chinatrust Commercial Bank founded its first branch in New Delhi in 1996 with the main purpose of serving the business requirements of Indian corporate and customers of Taiwan. The bank officially commenced functioning from April 1996. It is an organization consenting with the ethnic Indian values of service. The New Delhi branch is considered as one of the most efficient-working single branch overseas banks placed in India. With the successful completion of over ten years in the country, the bank has been growing gradually with some wide and great offerings with a special personal touch.
