Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (Credit Agricole CIB formerly known as Calyon) is the entity of Credit Agricole's corporate and investment banking and was established in May 2004 by the transmit of assets and services from Credit Lyonnais' Corporate and Investment Banking division to Credit Agricole Indosuez (CAI), which had been launched in the year 1996 buying Banque Indosuez by Credit Agricole. Calyon changed its name to Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank on February 6, 2010. The offering of the bank are categorized into two main divisions, the Capital Markets & Investment Banking Division and the Financing Division. Credit Agricole CIB is spread almost all around the world with over 13,000 employees who are situated in over 50 countries in the Americas, Africa, Western Europe, Central & Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
