Presence In India
Societe Generale (corporate and investment banking) marked its presence in India back in the year 1978 and provides a large range of financial products to the Indian market. Starting off as a representative office, it opened a full time branch office in 1985. SG CIB inaugurated its second branch in New Delhi in 1993. The bank on the basis of India's sustained economy accompanied by enhanced credit demand and investment basket, has been continuously elevating its Indian ambitions and accelerating its extension with the development of seven new business activities to accomplish almost eleven varied activities.
