Isha Foundation and its Mission
Isha Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Sadhguru Jaggi
Vasudev. The main aim of Isha Foundation is to use yogic science for the
physical, metal as well as spiritual development of an individual. With
approximately 150 centers worldwide, it strives towards world peace and
works for the upliftment of destitute children, rural people and
embattled women. The volunteers of the Isha Foundation work selflessly
in the service of others.
Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev
The founder of Isha Foundation, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, was born in
Mysore, India. His teachings mainly involve a combination of simple yoga
techniques and age old spiritual knowledge.
Isha Yoga Center
The Isha Yoga Center was founded under the aegis of Isha Foundation. It
is situated at the foothills of the Velliangiri Mountains, near the
Coimbatore city of India. Spread over an area of 150 acres, it is
regarded as a center for inner growth. One of the unique features of
Isha Yoga Center is that it offers all the four major paths of yoga -
gnana (knowledge), karma (action), kriya (energy), and bhakthi
(devotion).
The Facilities and other Organizations
